Dear Ms Shaw,

Thank you very much for your phone call this morning and for the offer of the position of marketing assistant at Harper & Lane. I am delighted to accept, and I am grateful for the confidence you have shown in me.

I was very impressed by the company during my interviews. In particular, I was attracted by the creative atmosphere that I noticed in the office, and by the opportunity to work on international campaigns. It was also clear from my conversations with your team that the company values the development of its staff, which is very important to me at this stage of my career.

As I have now given notice to my current employer, I will be available to start on Monday 3 June, if that suits you. If you would prefer a different date, I would be happy to discuss it.

Please let me know if there is any paperwork that I should complete, or any documents that I should bring on my first day.

Thank you once again, and I look forward to joining the team.

Yours sincerely,
Marcus Lee
