What actually changed
- The name. IELTS.GG → GoPrep.
- The address. ielts.gg → goprep.gg. Bookmarks and links in chats still work: every old URL redirects to its new home.
- The app listing. Search the App Store for GoPrep; it shows as GoPrep: English Exam Prep, developer Aleem Labs. A normal update brings the new name and icon — the release note says it in one line: “A new name and a fresh look — same team, same app.”
- The look. New logo, coral instead of indigo, and Preppy — the mascot you'll meet in the dashboard.

Three things that can look wrong (and the one-step fix)
“It asks me to sign in again.” Normal after a domain change on some browsers. Use the same email as before — Google sign-in or the code to your inbox both work.
“I can't find the app on my phone.” It is still installed; it may still show the old icon until it updates. Open the App Store, search GoPrep, tap Update.
“My history is empty.” You are almost certainly signed in with a different email. Sign out, sign in with the address you used on IELTS.GG.
Why the new name
IELTS.GG named one exam. The platform has grown past that — a full grammar programme, the Master Tool course, free tools anyone can use without an account — and we wanted a name with room for what's next. GoPrep keeps the promise we started with: prepare properly and hit your target on the first try.

Is GoPrep the same company as IELTS.GG?
Yes. GoPrep is the new name of IELTS.GG, run by the same team, Aleem Labs. Nothing was sold or handed over.
Do I need a new account?
No. Sign in with the email you used on IELTS.GG.
Did my subscription end because of the rename?
No. Subscriptions, renewal dates and prices were not touched.
Are ielts.gg links still safe to use?
Yes. They redirect to the same page on goprep.gg.
Is the “GoPrep: English Exam Prep” app the official one?
Yes — that is our App Store listing, published by Aleem Labs. It is the same app IELTS.GG users installed; only the name and icon changed.
Did the tests or the AI feedback change?
No. The mock tests, the scoring tables and the AI feedback on Writing and Speaking are the same — and the free band score calculator uses the same scoring code.
