Dear Mrs Karimova,

I hope you are well. I am writing with some very happy news: I will be graduating from the University of Bristol this summer, and I would be so pleased if you could come to the ceremony.

The graduation will take place on Friday 18 July at 11 am in the Great Hall, and it will last for about two hours. Afterwards, there will be a reception in the garden, and my family is planning a lunch at a nearby restaurant.

I would really like you to be there because you have supported me for as long as I can remember. You encouraged me to apply when I was unsure about leaving home, and I would not have made it without your advice.

The hall is in the main university building, a fifteen-minute walk from Bristol Temple Meads station. My parents would be happy to meet you at the station.

I hope you can make it.

Best wishes,
Daniyar Nurgaliyev
