Dear Mr Davies,

I am writing to inform you that I do not intend to renew my tenancy agreement for the flat at 12 Mill Street, which ends on 31 August. I plan to move out on that date and will return the keys to you on the same day.

The reason for my decision is that I have accepted a job in Leeds, and the daily journey from here would be too long. I have been very happy in the flat.

I would also like to ask about my deposit of 800 pounds. Could you please tell me when you would like to carry out the final inspection, and how long it will take to return the deposit afterwards? I will clean the flat thoroughly and repair any small damage before I go, and I will send you my new address so that you can contact me.

Please also let me know if you need to show the flat to new tenants in the meantime. I would be happy to arrange convenient times for visits.

Thank you for your help.

Yours sincerely,
Peter Novak
