  1. Do you live in a house or a flat?
  2. Which room in your home do you spend most time in? [Why?]
  3. What do you like about the place where you live?
  4. Is there anything you would like to change about your home?
  5. Do you plan to live in the same place for a long time? [Why/Why not?]

How to answer Part 1 questions

  • Answer the question, then add one reason or a short example.
  • Do not learn answers by heart. Part 1 is about you, and memorised answers sound memorised.
  • If a question asks why, say why. Short one-word answers cost fluency marks.
