Dear Mr Khan,

I am writing in response to your advertisement for the two-bedroom flat on Hawthorn Road, which I saw on a website this morning. I would be very interested to see it.

The flat appeals to me for several reasons. It is close to the underground station, which I need for my daily journey to work, and the rent fits my budget. I am a non-smoker with no pets, and I would live there with my husband.

I would like to arrange a viewing as soon as possible. I am free on Saturday 8 June at any time, or on Monday and Wednesday evenings after 6 pm. If none of these dates are convenient, I could take a morning off work, if you let me know a few days in advance.

Could you also tell me how long the rental contract would be, and whether it can be extended? I would also like to know the deposit.

Thank you for your time.

Yours sincerely,
Fiona Walsh
