  1. What is the weather like in your hometown?
  2. What kind of weather do you like best? [Why?]
  3. Does the weather affect your mood?
  4. What do you usually do on rainy days?
  5. Do you think the weather in your country is changing?

How to answer Part 1 questions

  • Answer the question, then add one reason or a short example.
  • Do not learn answers by heart. Part 1 is about you, and memorised answers sound memorised.
  • If a question asks why, say why. Short one-word answers cost fluency marks.
